Our Mission

At CorVita, we innovate to make AED response faster, more efficient, and universally compatible. Our mission is to eliminate compatibility delays and ensure every second counts in an emergency. No one should lose their life due to incompatibility—we provide first responders, workplaces, and individuals with a seamless, immediate, and effective life-saving solution.

Incompatibility Delays Treatment—Every Second Counts

Cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death worldwide, with 350,000+ out-of-hospital cases annually in the U.S.

Survival rates drop 10% per minute without defibrillation.

AEDs can increase survival rates by over 70%—but only if available and compatible in time.

Many AEDs aren’t universally compatible with different pad brands, causing treatment delays, higher fatality risks, and unnecessary costs.

CorVita’s Universal AED Adapter eliminates these issues by ensuring AED pads work with compatible devices.

Solving a Life-Threatening Problem

Angie envisioned a simple yet groundbreaking solution: a universal AED adapter that seamlessly connects multiple AED brands. To bring this idea to life, she assembled a team of engineers, patent attorneys, and emergency medical professionals, developed a proprietary multi-port adapter with signal translation technology, secured patents for the innovation, and initiated the FDA clearance process to meet medical device regulatory standards. She also collaborated with industry leaders, including first responders, hospitals, and businesses, to test and refine the product. The result is a device that eliminates AED compatibility issues, accelerates emergency response, and ultimately saves lives.

Meet Our Founder

With two decades of experience in healthcare, occupational safety, and emergency response, Angie has trained thousands in life-saving techniques. A licensed medical professional with extensive OSHA training and CPR instructor certifications from the American Red Cross and American Heart Association, she specializes in patient care, workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation. From consulting on OSHA compliance to training first responders and healthcare professionals, Angie is dedicated to improving safety and saving lives.

While training and implementing AED programs, Angie witnessed a critical flaw—AEDs aren’t universally compatible. In emergencies, every minute without defibrillation lowers survival rates by 10%, yet she saw lives lost due to incompatibility. Determined to find a solution, she created CorVita to eliminate these preventable delays and ensure AEDs are always ready to save lives.
